Myles is active in the biotechnology, medical
device and healthcare services sectors. He has led financings at six CHL
portfolio companies.
Prior to joining CHL Medical Partners in 2004, Myles was a Senior
Principal at Pappas Ventures where he served on the Board of a number of
companies including: Angiomics, Inc. (acquired by PDL BioPharma Inc.),
FlowCardia, Inc. (acquired by CR Bard), LipoScience Inc., NuVasive, Inc.
(Nasdaq: NUVA), and Syntonix (acquired by Biogen Idec).
Myles is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of
Engineering and Applied Science, Yale University School of Medicine and
Harvard Business School and is a diplomate of the American Board of
Emergency Medicine. Earlier in his career he was Assistant Clinical
Director of the Emergency Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical
Center/Harvard Medical School in Boston.
