Jeff has been investing in seed and early stage biotechnology and healthcare services companies for over 25 years. He has been actively involved in the founding of a number of life sciences companies including Genetic Systems, Inc., Celgene Corporation (Nasdaq: CELG), Incyte Corporation (formerly Incyte Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Nasdaq: INCY), and Neurogen Corporation (Nasdaq: NRGN), as well as numerous healthcare services companies including Intensiva healthcare Corporation and SemperCare, Inc.

Jeff has served on the boards of over thirty portfolio companies.

Prior to the founding of CHL, Jeff held various roles in the Schroder Ventures organization including President, Schroder Ventures Management.

Jeff is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Business School.
