Jeffrey J. Collinson

Jeff is a graduate of Yale University and the Harvard Business School.

Jeff has been investing as a venture capitalist since 1972, when he joined the first Schroder venture capital operation. He has invested in the healthcare industry since 1981, focusing on seed, start-up and early stage healthcare companies. He has been actively involved in the founding of a number of life sciences companies including Celgene Corporation, Incyte Corporation (formerly Incyte Pharmaceuticals, Inc.), and Neurogen Corporation, as well as numerous healthcare services companies including Intensiva HealthCare Corporation and SemperCare, Inc. Prior to joining Schroders, Jeff worked for Baxter International, Inc. in the areas of finance and corporate development.

Jeff has served on the boards of over twenty portfolio companies, many of which are now public. He currently serves as a director of Ascend Health Corporation, iVital, Inc., MedMark Services, Inc., Molecular Staging, Inc., and VeinRx Inc.
