The firm was founded in 1990 when Jeff Collinson and Tim Howe created an
independent firm to continue their management of Schroder Ventures’ US
funds through to their conclusion in 2001. Ron Lennox joined the team in
1997 from Harbourvest Partners and the firm became known as CHL Medical
Partners. Greg Weinhoff joined in 2001 and Myles Greenberg in 2004.
Since founding, the firm has managed six venture capital funds focused
on the healthcare sector, including:
